Feeling like the underground wasn't growing with their musical tastes, the Feenom Circle began to redefine their music. Combining their multiple experiences, identities, and tastes, the Feenoms are producing music that is neither mainstream nor underground, but a hybrid utilizing the best qualities of both extremes of hip-hop. The Feenoms now occupy the creative space lying between the glitter of mainstream rap and the subterranean grit of underground hip-hop, hence middle ground. The resulting sound is something that can be appreciated by the masses and backpackers alike.
