New Zealand caught its first glimpse of Falter in 2003 as the three lovable teens hurtling down a hydro-slide singing 'Falling to pieces' over and over. By the end of 2005, Falter were an experienced and hard-working touring band, with a unique but commercially viable sound, and a great live show. Their success was enough to be chosen for the Boost Mobile School's tour and in 2006 falter set off on the biggest tour in New Zealand history. The tour saw them play over 100 shows all over New Zealand, from Invercargill to Whangarei. Falter(Now based in Auckland) are set for release of their debut album in May of 2009 "Falter's songs are fresh, alternative and emotionally charged. Their live performance will have you believing every note they play; their intensity is guaranteed to grab the attention of any crowd."
