Fabian Ramonte Brown (born March 15, 1989), better known by his stage name Fabe Brown, is an American rapper/songwriter. Originally from Prichard, Alabama where the value of a dollar is life threatening, Fabe turned to music as an escape route. What started off as a hobby eventually grew into a craft that he learned to love. Who would have ever known the 11 year old that couldn’t freestyle to save his life would still be at it after a decade. He seems to be show no sign of slowing down as he grins and says “I’m just getting warmed up“.
You may remember fabe Brown by his previous stage name “Soulja Boi” due to legal matters he had no other choice but to change it. Fabe released two mix tapes under the name titled as “1 Man Army” and “Hustlas Season” he created a buzz for his self in the streets and over the internet. After searching for a name that would suit him fabe decided to keep it simple and go with his nickname. He recently released his latest work “Hurry up & buy” under the name lil fabe, which can be downloaded for free on datpiff.com. The 22 year old is currently in the studio with Blaq Rain productions working on a album entitled “Get Yours” the release date hasn’t been set yet.
Fabe has bounced around from labels such as Mob town records, Deal wit it prod, D4L ENT, and others. His work ethic has landed him in the studio with artist such as Zaytoven, Yung Ralph, Richboy, and many more. He is confident in his new project and says the album “Get Yours” is some of his best work yet. With featured songs such as “Believe It” where he says “the saying is if you want it you got to claim it and if you want it in this game u got to bring it”. He also says he plans to exceed consumer’s expectations by claiming it and bringing his all to the table.
After all the adversity Fabe says he is reminded of why he is pursuing a career in music, one of his long term goals is to open doors for his self, family, and others. In addition he also states he would like to build his brand world wide, but home will always be home because it keeps him motivated. Fabe says another thing that motivates him to keep pushing is the death of his close friend Ramon Tinson who was once a sponsor for the “Hurry up & buy” project. He also plans to open up a business named after Ramon to mentor the young and also show his gratitude. In final analysis destiny is something we have no control over, every dog has his day and this under dog is hard at work daily awaiting his.
