Evolution is the real creator of this world and is the real key to understand this world. Mutation and selection within the condition of energy-input are the real drivers for increasing morphological negentropy and thus for the beautiful varity of this world called earth - not only in a biological meaning, but also in a chemical and a cosmological meaning. The mechanics of evolution are even present in economics, in our daily life and even in ourselves, in our head: thoughts are born unconsciously in the deepest regions of our brain, drift up to the conscious surface and will be selected by our available knowledge, moral-attitudes and the environment, of course. That's the way the world evolves and advances. And - last but not least: music is created by the same way. So the pseudonym "Evolutor" stands for my function as a creative channel through which the mutations of my unconscious output are selected and transformed into brainwaves and music in order to create my own world.
Band/artist history
I was about 16 years old, when I began to discover the world of electronic music. Of course Jean-Michel Jarre was my first experience and decades later still his music accompanies my life. But a little later on another artist crossed my ears: the godfather of german electronic music - Klaus Schulze (the actual founder of "Berlin School"). Especially his works in the 70's and early 80's still fascinate me. Tracks like Crystal Lake, Wahnfried 1833, Heinrich von Kleist still push me into another world. He touched my senses in a way, which I have never experienced before. The exploration of electronic music has leaded me forward to Kraftwerk, Vangelis and then later on to more ambient-like artists like Michael Stearns, Steve Roach, Max Corbacho, Rudy Adrian, Thom Brennan and a few other artists.
