All these songs are a couple years old and were recorded as first takes. None are developed any further than what I'd come up with just prior to recording. Nothing is the final product. I'm not a producer. Still coming into my own as a musician.
Band/artist history
Just me for now. I write, sing, play keyboards or really basic guitar, and try to produce/record all of it except for about 2 of the uploaded songs. "Still" was cowritten by and features guitar and vocal harmony by Jamie Torres.
Your musical influences
I was first inspired to sing after watching Disney's "The Little Mermaid" in theaters. Ariel showed me another world. I would sing that "Aaaaah, aaaah" part over and over to anyone who'd listen. Tammy Wynette, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, The Judds, Fiona Apple, No Doubt, Amy Grant, Nelly Furtado, Bjork, Pam Tillis, Jewel, Tanya Tucker, Lauryn Hill, Madonna, Selena, Alanis Morrisette, Shania Twain, Sade, the late and great Aaliyah, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Eisley, Tori Amos, lots more.....
