Chosen Sound is a band of three members in their forties of different backgrounds and experiences who have one overwhelming thing in common-their lives were transformed by Jesus Christ. The songs on this CD have been composed out of experiencing His living reality over the years. These years have not been without hardships, but even in the midst of these difficulties the Lord has proven that He is enough.

Even in the darkness I can follow by His light

He’s still here, He never leaves, or goes away, He keeps you in His sight

He has become to us hope and joy. He has proven again and again that He loves us with an unconditional and everlasting love. We have a passion to share this message of hope, joy and love with as many people as we can.

My songs are about my observations of the Christian life and enjoying the Lord. The themes are freedom, peace, and simplicity.

My name is Eric Rapp. I am a Christian singer/songwriter with a desire that Jesus Christ would be known as he really can be known. I have met many Christians all over the world that have a very complicated and limited relationship with their Lord. I was one of them.

Over fifteen years ago I began to see that the Christian life is a simple life of utter dependence on Jesus Christ. He has done everything to free us. He has not just set us free from sin, but he has set us free that we may enjoy Him.

Chosen Sound was started in May of 2006. It has been a great experience playing music with other Christians. Tom and I have been playing together for years. We started working with John in 2006.

I have written many songs over the years that are expressions of my experiences and observations. Part of the Story is a few of those songs. I hope that you enjoy the music and are encouraged and strengthened in the Lord by the message.

YOU ARE PART OF THE STORY.

Currently Chosen Sound is playing at various events all over the east coast.

I have traveled to many places around the world singing and talking to people, telling them that there may be more to the Christian life than what they have experienced or have seen.

I am looking for opportunities to share this message. I really believe that Jesus Christ has been misunderstood by many Christians and non-Christians. I also have seen that so many do not understand how much the Lord really sees them or how much He loves them. I hope I can show Him in a different light.

I can perform almost anywhere. If your location is local to the Philadelphia area, I have equipment that can be used indoors or outdoors.

I have played in auditoriums, churches, parks etc. I have also played in some very small settings (like homes) with no amplification.

I will do whatever I can to have this message in music heard. I am not looking to make a profit.
