Band/artist history

Eric started writing/recording/performing his own music in 1989. So, here we are.

Have you performed in front of an audience?

Taking a break from playing live after 20+ years of bands, gigs, festivals, bars, weddings, wineries, private events, etc. I liked playing live, didn't love it. I'm more of a studio junkie(creating, mixing, etc.)---Planning on jumping into it again in a few years.

Your musical influences

Grateful Dead, Black Crowes, Eric Clapton, Los Lobos, Allman Brothers, Neil Young, Uncle Tupelo, Carter Family, Phish, Roots music, Americana, most Classic/Rock, etc.

What equipment do you use?

I use a 1998 Martin, 2005 Taylor 314ce, Gibson Les Pauls(1996 Standard & 1995 Studio), Fender amps. I also use a PODXT Live, Fishman Aura pedal, LR Baggs, Eleven Rack, Casio Keys, Warwick Bass, Shure & Rode mics. This equipment is used either for my electric or acoustic.

Anything else?

All of Eric's music available at www.EricHLazar.com. I currently have released 4 albums (Impulses, Relics, Catharsis, Revolving Doors, Lick & A Promise). All albums have at least 15 songs and all albums are $5.99. Dirt cheap!!!--Also doing an instrumental electronica album (Heliosphere) as a side project.
