I'm not much of a critic in hip hop but I feel this song is very original and sounding really fine, keep up the good work.

I like it! The only thing keeping me from giving 5* all the way is the vocal quality - a better mic would do so much justice. :)

yeah, buddy... this is IT!!! __ this is a great one, my friend!!! - love the "classical" mixed with hip-hop VIBE on this one. that could have been tricky, but you succeeded in making it work. ;) and, I love the way that the sound of the drums anchor this jammie throughout the track... solidly slammin' the groove home! you've got really good musical instincts, my friend. keep up the great sounds!!! Z. ps - Oh, and GREAT "syncopation" too!!!

Whatup, Envs (Mic)... I'm diggin' this track!!! Great energy on this one, with a hard driving groove. Loved the drum intro... it was very funky, and hard-hitting (would have loved this track even MORE if that beat had stayed more prominent throughout the mix, instead of fading into the background once the vocals started). But, the syncopated vocals and the bass line keeps propelling the song... and driving the groove! This is a VERY inspirational track... each time I listened to it, I kept hearing ideas. ;) Well done, my friend!!!

Now THAT's a mouthful!! Vocal performances like this are never easy! But sounds like you're getting it! Two suggestions, if I may (though I'm certainly no expert!); Technically speaking, keep your recording input levels low (say an average of -12db if your peaks don't go over absolute 0db). After the mix is complete, use a limiter to match the output level to compare with other tracks like yours. "Limiting" (or "compression") will also take some practice. For better intelligibility, record piece more slowly, then modify speed in the mixdown (most DAWs allow for tempo changes without changing pitch). I'll recite a George Martin story for support... He recorded the piano for The Beatles tune "In My LIfe" at half speed, and in a lower register because, as he put it, he couldn't play it well enough at "normal" speed... Hhhmmm... Definitely an eye opener! I like what you have put together! It's full, without being "over-done." The main distractions are the digital "overs" in th

Hey man Big ups for dropping by and hitting me up. I'm feeling Ninja Skill. A word of advice though... I feel like you layered the vocals a bit too heavily. You should have one main (perfect) vocal, and then a backing vocal, backing up the end of each line or emphasising certain lines etc... Other than that, I'm feeling it man. Always up for listening to some Aus rap. Drop by and peep my new song 'Make Believe' it's a radio friendly joint. Thanks man! All the best for 2012!
