The two came together to do a collaboration on ONE track that was to appear on RICANAs first album. The two MCs clicked right away. The vibe, energy and mutual love for the music they were creating formed a union that was destined to be and after collaborating on the record decided to form the group E&R, ECO & RICANA. ECO & RICANA have earned a name for themselves independently. They boldly released a 5 song EP titled "Just the Beginning" and started independently promoting it by performing in clubs and local and state wide events, building a word of mouth fan base that is almost a cult-like gathering. Their perseverance would not go unnoticed. They have performed alongside such known artists as Daddy Yankee, Don Omar & Pitbull, and have earned the "street" cred that most MCs in todays game create on paper from appearances on several mix-tapes. They have also introduced their own series of mix-tapes titled "Free Agents" which are distributed by street teams and several online websites. .
