Elle Stusek

uh, folk-punk? no, i hate that term. acoustic punk isn't very catchy. take crass, operation ivy, and bob dylan and it's almost like that. or you could list

Acoustic Rock

Thank you for coming to my page, i hope the music pleases you, gives you something to think about, or what have you. I really don't consider myself too much of a musician, or much of a poet, but i think i'm a pretty good human being. I wrote these songs and future songs because you can only get so frustrated before you find a vent, or take it out on a wal-mart.
Band/artist history
I'd been in a few punk bands, and i just started writing songs by myself and somehow it evolved to this. the songs aren't really folk music, it's not really you typical accoustic rock either and i really hate the term "folk-punk". but i guess it applies, although i would put the punk before folk.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Sometimes. But i don't really like, you know, being alone, up on stage. If i find a bassist that can tolerate me i would probably do more live shows.
Your musical influences
I could list my influences but i don't think they're actually a reflection of my music. structurally there are influences from nirvana, neutral milk hotel, and from old school punk. The bass lines reflect an influence by crass and op ivy. i really don't know where everything else comes from.
What equipment do you use?
an amalgamation of stolen and salvaged equipment.
Anything else?
the hi fi play, somehow, slows the song down and lowers the pitch of the song, so either download or play the lo fi. the hi fi sounds creepy to me and i don't like it.
