Hey, my name is Elissa. I'm seventeen, a high school senior and an aspiring musician eagerly pursuing the field of music, hoping to reach as many people as possible.
Though school and friends consume most of my time, I really like to devote my free time to music. I sing, play both the acoustic and electric guitar, violin, drums and bass guitar (listed in order of focus and ability). All the music here is origional material, both written and recorded by me.
A little background.... I started playing guitar about four years ago, but I've been singing and writing my whole life. In between my music and addiction to Xanga (blogging), I love to think and talk and interact with people. I spend far more time on AIM and MySpace than I do on my music, but when I do get time, I teach myself new instruments and write new songs. It's what I do.
I am by no means a professional artist. I just write songs that I feel apply to me and those around me. Everything on here is pretty low-quality because I don't really have anything fancy to record myself with. My friends have told me that it works for them, so please, let it work for you as well. Take care. :-)
I play at the Cubblyhole Coffeehouse on Tuesday nights and at small parties with my friends. Other than that, I'm famous in the music wing at my high school. ;)
Hmm... Special moments? Sure. I'll be sitting there with my guitar, ten minutes before school starts and a crowd will form around me. I guess you can call that special... it makes me feel good :-)

I have a Squier Stratocaster that has served me well since the day I started playing the guitar (note: I really need a new guitar, no one uses Squiers after four, almost five years...), a Olympia Tacoma acoustic, low-end Sony microphones aaand Kristal Audio Engine for recording.
Me, music not included. I spend my time... hanging out with my friends, eating, playing the guitar, singing, playing the violin, playing soccer, rollerblading, reading, writing, being loud, being myself, making people laugh, encouraging people, loving, being random, taking pictures and having deep conversations.
