Hi everyone, My name is Elias (pronounced like Elliott but with an "s"). This is a library of my performances (solo clarinet and chamber works) since about 10th grade in high school. Most of these recordings are live, and no where near perfect! However, I am going to continue uploading my performances (mistakes and all) so that I can keep track of how I am doing, and also to share. I would love your feedback, if you have any. Just leave a comment or you can friend me. I am in my 4th year as a music education major at Baylor University, in Waco, TX. I am unsure about my plans after Baylor, but at the moment I am enjoying playing and teaching classical music. Thanks for visiting! Elias Rodriguez
Band/artist history
I started playing the oboe, but then switched to clarinet around mid-6th grade. I studied with Jeff Garcia until I graduated from Duncanville High School, six years later, in 2008. Currently, I am a senior at Baylor University. At Baylor, I studied for 2 years with my dear retired professor, Dr. Richard Shanley, and the awesome Mr. Alan Olson. This year I will also study with Dr. Vanguel Tangarov.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Currently, I play in the Baylor Wind Ensemble, Baylor Symphony Orchestra, and play second clarinet in the Waco Symphony Orchestra.
Your musical influences
I am influenced by the people that were once in my shoes and are now very successful.
What equipment do you use?
Buffet R-13 clarinet Greg Smith mouthpiece V-12 3 1/2+ reeds Vandoren Optimum ligature

Beautiful playing on the Rabaud. I try to find recordings of everything that I have to play for reference, and so congratulations: you are helping me to learn to play that piece! Good luck in the future, though it doesn't seem that you need it if you keep practicing so well!
