Fimbulvetr Fimbulvetr
A song about Ragnarok - the Norse version of Armageddon. Many people have said it sounds rather 'Jethro Tull'. I'd love to hear a heavy metal band do a cover.
If I Was a Viking If I Was a Viking
Some nonsense that fell out of my head one afternoon. A half dozen cliches about Norse culture set to music.
E, Dame Jolie 701842 E, Dame Jolie 701842
This is an new recording of this anonymous trouvere song circa 1200. Translation by me.
Misha Misha
I wrote this silly ballad about my friend Mikhail Kazimirovitch Pomeshanov. So the guy snores a little. Give 'im a break. He's a nice enough fellow.

What do you get when you combine Tom Leher, Dougie Maclean, Wierd-Al Yankovic, James Taylor, Spike Jones, John Denver, Jethro Tull, Monty Python, Fairport Convention, and Daffy Duck with a mild mannered minstrel in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)? Answer: me.Band/artist history
I started writing and playing music in 1989. I've released 4 independant CDs, and a half dozen or so home-made tapes. Mostly I perform for the local Renaissance Faire and SCA events like the Pennsic War.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. I mostly play around campfires, renaissance faires, and SCA events. Sometimes I even do real medieval music for schools and library programs. I've started doing some Harry Potter inspired "Wizard Rock" under the name "The Blibbering Humdingers".
What equipment do you use?
I play guitar, recorders, flutes, bodhran, some keyboards, and a variety of weird toys. These days I record on my Mac with Garage Band.Anything else?
