Ed Porter
I like to play whatever is on my mind. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. I am a true pessimist when it comes to writing songs. I generally don't like the

I would first like to say don't expect too much on here. I am not using any fancy recording equipment or even a mixer. I am simply using a microphone that came with my computer. The sound quality is not great, but it's all I have for now.
Secondly, I am open to criticisms. Whether it be positive or negative I want to hear about it. I take pride in my music and I am always looking for ways to improve. Any feedback is more than welcome.
Band/artist history
I started playing guitar when I was ten years old and quit about two weeks after. I started up again when I was a Freshman in high school. Me and a few friends got a band together and we started playing gigs around town. I decided to quit because there were other things I wanted to do. After about 6 years I met my old roommate and I guess he got me playing again. So if I ever make it big, I owe Dave a TON!!
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I play live at my apartment every so often, lol. People seem to enjoy what I play so I figured I would take it to the Internet and see what happens!
Your musical influences
John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, Matchbox 20, Ari Hest, Matt Ryczek.
What equipment do you use?
I just use an Ovation acoustic/electric guitar.
