First, I am Icelandic and live in Reykjavik, Iceland. I completed a dual degree in Music Business & Management / Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music, Boston, August 1995. After it became painfully clear that the industry does not work in the favor of artists (after doing radio promotions for PGD's Mercury Label, now part of the Universal Music Group umbrella), I decided to add an MBA (marketing track) from Suffolk University, Boston. I received the degree in December 1997, moved back to Iceland in March 1998 and went down the traditional business route.
