Hip Hop General

Soon after being born in St. Louis, Dynamic moved to South Florida and was raised there until the age of 15, returning to St. Louis in 1996. He attended Bayless High School and from there moved on to Meramec to graduate with an associates in Graphic Communications. During his younger years you could of found him DJing at skating rinks, for Half time shows at sports functions & school dances. Dynamic has always been involved in music his whole life. He was majorly influenced by his father who toured with Rhythm & Blues bands thoughout his life. Dynamic has been in two Hip-Hop groups before and has produced & engineered albums for several artists, but now being able to hold his own, he feels like he can be a successful solo artist. The music Dynamic brings to the table is something St. Louis isn't used to hearing. He's ready to take the people into the new era: raising the eyebrows and changing people's views on what St. Louis has to offer. I'm just tired of hearing the same old' St. Louis twang. Whenever a person from St. Louis goes down to Atlanta, the people from Atlanta are like 'What-up Derrty'". He makes the point that although artists such as Nelly and Chingy are good artists, they have formed a certain stereotype in their listeners' minds that all people from St. Louis talk a certain way, when we all know that isn't true. "Everybody from 'herre' doesn't talk like that and never did before the songs were released". These are the days of change, its time to mold St. Louis sound into what its supposed to be. We are now also experiencing the days of politics on urban radio stations. Politics, meaning if you're a certain ethnicity, or have a certain style to your music, or are even friends with one of the DJ's at the radio station, your music will get played and will then most likely lead to success. But also on the other side of the spectrum, if you don't have any of these leads, then you will most definitely not get aired. "When they listen to my album, "The Reconstruction," there won't be any room for politics." "My album won't just be a CD with songs on it, it's deeper than that, It's a whole entire movement....
