DYMEZ first started releasing records in the late 90's, which he recorded with his cousin and producer Cezar Capone. In 1996 they recorded an album titled Main Event which was later released and sold locally. After DYMEZ graduated from high school he moved to the bay area and hooked up with Atlanta native producer "Plex". They recorded 6 underground albums and created 3 demos that he gave out all over his hometown and throughout the bay area.
Alongside partners from his early group "LIASON", DYMEZ, Cezar Capone and Bugs joined a local rap movement called Coalition. In 2003 Coalition dropped an underground self titled album and sold 1000 units out of the trunk. DYMEZ then moved with his older cousin Diamond Jim who was starting a record label "Frontline". During his short stay with "Frontline", DYMEZ performed and opened up for various recording artists such as Andre Nikatina, also known as "Dre Dogg", KRS-1, Planet Asia, and Proof from D-12. DYMEZ also appeared on a few bay area DJ mix tapes as well as Frontline's compilation album Group Therapy Vol. 1 which was sold in stores.
In 2006 DYMEZ signed on with an independent record label, MI Records, out of Fresno, California. Through MI Records, DYMEZ has been performing in areas such as Santa Maria, Merced, Los Banos, and Fresno. He was also the host of MI Fame, a television show on my53 KAIL, a local television network. DYMEZ is presently working on his album titled "Ask About Me" which is expected to drop under MI records during summer of 2007. Biography was written and copyrighted by Dwayne Henderson
