Durand Robinson has been writing and performing since the early 70s, when songwriters ruled the airwaves. As a young musician, influences like Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris, James Taylor and Crosby, Stills and Nash shaped his sense of story, rhyme and harmony. His first radio performance was at 17. He then spent over 25 years living and playing across Europe as a solo act and in various bands. But nothing fueled his passion for songwriting more than his years living in Dublin, Ireland. Thats why Durands music is a mixture of folk, country, newgrass and americana songs with a celtic accent.Have you performed in front of an audience? For over a decade, I performed in venues small and large across Europe. My favorite is making music with others joining in with me at pubs in Ireland.
