Formed as a Black Metal band, Dracodacikus has evolved into an atmospheric sound project. It creates not music, but an magic and archaic environment. Dracodacikus' s purpose is to recreate a lost time and space using sounds. Developing new ways of expressing the soul, we return to the archetype while evoking a lost spirituality. Dracodacikus is a concept born out of the need of transcending usual music and evolving to a superior level of understanding. The main source of inspiration for composing the materials is the essence of sound itself. Step by step, every sound expressed by Dracodacikus becomes a gate to a archetypal existence. Acting as a will of nature, a will of the human nature, the basic sounds are reproduced as natural as possible. Using the nature as an instrument, Dracodacikus produces not music, but nature itself.Band/artist history
In december 2002 "Deliric Ditae" is formed as a concept by Ditae. In 2003, Mortii became part of the first configuration, but nothing is recorded at this time. Months later the bands receives new influences and a new ideology arise. Different line-ups are changed and Mortii is no longer a part of the project. Blakross enters the project and we start working at the first demo.
In 2004 we start studying the romanian mythology and ancestral background and implement these beliefs in the soon to come demo. As a result I change the name to: "Draco Dacikus". The words have two meanings: 1. dacian war flag and 2. dacian dragon. August: we record the first demo: "Graves Beneath our Steps".
2005
As Dracodacikus is not a typical Black Metal band anymore, Blakross ends his involvement in the project. June: I start working at the next material which will mean extending the musical vision and departing from the Black Metal area.Have you performed in front of an audience?No. Dracodacikus was created to be understand in solitude.
Your musical influences
Dracodacikus is a evolving project. At the beggining I was influenced by Black Metal bands such Mayhem, Burzum and Darkthrone. But Dracodacikus has created it's own sound and it now be considered a darkwave project with different influences.

hehe.. marfa muzica. ar trebui sa cunoasca si sa asculte mai multa lume asa ceva. totusi, nu prea am de unde sa fac rost de piesele voastre... sa ascultati si piesele noastre sa vedeti tampenia umana atingand cotele absurdului.
