Double Edged Sword

A rock band with emo overtones, and we like to use delay on our guitars to soak over our melodies.

Band/artist history

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Double Edged Sword are a four piece collective hailing from the small but vibrant London suburb of Kingston. The age ranges from 18 23. Formed when lead singer Andi met bassist Adam at a festival, Andi was recognised as ex-lead singer of big-Kingston-band-at-the-time ‘Set in Stone’. They chatted about music and setting up a band and ideas were very much matching on the same wavelength. Tom the keyboardist approached the band after hearing about the position via the charity Andi works for. Drums were still to come, and indeed arrived when Pete spotted an ad on the Oxygen charity's website: from his first day trial the boys new he was the final piece of the jigsaw needed.

Things are starting to happen for the band, as recognition increases around Kingston, recording of their first material is imminent, and the collective are being interviewed on Cardiff student radio which will include an acoustic performance of a selection of songs on Sunday 20th February.

We are headlining The Peel in Kingston March 17th for St Patrick's night of rock. Past headliners include: Ash, Lost Prophets, Hundred Reasons!
