Kind of you to leave a message of encouragement. I have played several of your songs tonight. It sounds like you might be using a Yamaha keyboard as I do to create your songs. Love those Yamees!!
I liked your original Christmas song "Happy Hippy" but the lead vocals really need to be brought to the front. I was able to follow the words you have posted of the lyrics while the song played.
I know how tough it is to get the balance right. I redid my song 3 or 4 times in various sections. I still have trouble hearing all the words ... lol

Hi Jo. I just listened to the Price of Fame. Another good song. I like the lyrics and the subject matter. Very topical considering the state of celebrities these days.

Hi Jo,
I liked the hippies smoking at the end. If I could add some suggestions I hope you don't mind. Get some sleigh bells in there and give the drum beat a bit of variety and it will make the song sound a bit better. Vocals could do wih being clearer. The chorus has got potential to be a real toe tapper.

Lucifers Lottery: I liked it. The lyrics are good and have a sense of humour in them. I love songs that get the word dude in them somewhere. I think, however there a few things, which in my opinion would improve the song. The balance of the mix could be changed a bit so the music a little louder. I felt that the singing was too loud compared tothe backing. The rythym and flow of the words could be slightly different in the chorus from the verse to distinguish the verse and chorus from each other. The backing reminded me of "if I ever lose my faith in you" by sting. Good piano playing.
