Hi, I'm Don and I always have a few projects on the go, but my main original project is solo. I like a lot of different styles of music, but they all revolve around the guitar.Depending on what influences are around me at the time, the styles I write will vary, which makes for diverse songs (I hope), and keeps me fresh.Band/artist history
My history, I started playing live in 1979, I always wrote. I have toured the country with many bands over the last 27 years. I've played almost every style there is, and loved it all.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live a lot, with bands and solo. Mostly in Cairns ,Queensland, Australia, and some times out of town.I love playing live, and every gig is a special moment.
Your musical influences
If I had to narrow it down, I would say guitar driven rock, blues, fingerstyle, music that moves me both instrumentally and lyrically.What equipment do you use?
I have a large collection of guitars and amps/effects that I rotate depending on the need. Keyboards, drum machines, studio etcAnything else?
