That Fire That Fire
Three distinctly different mc's, three damn good verses, hipnotizing track

Playa Play Playa Play
I had to give at least one smooth track. This is one you just let sink in.

Pimp, Preacher Pimp, Preacher
NEW DOWNLOAD!! This song explores my strengths and weaknessess, wants and desires, over a innovative yet simple track

The Hustle The Hustle
The song is my personal mantra. Funky bass line, right in the pocket, sparse sample. Some riding music. Every super hero needs a theme song!!

Band/artist history
D'mite has been a mainstay in the D.C. hip-hop scene for over four years and in the whole U-Street scene since '97. He began as a spoken word artists, until he ran into his neighbors Vincent and Marcus at Bar-Nun one night and they asked him to join them as a three-some with D playing the drums, Marcus rhyming and Vincent on Keys. The reaction from the crowd, and the vibe between the three was immediate. Since then the group has grown, adding a bass player (Jordan Ringo) and a drummer (Tim Steele) and become one of the best acts in the city. Their highly anticipated debut album is due out in the middle of '04.
At the same time, as a counselor working with Tim Jones and the Crushed I.C.E. program at Martha's Table Teen Program, D began to realize his capabilities with an MPC player and a keyboard. He began making tight hip-hop tracks, and turning is spoken word it hip-hop rhymes to create an orginal sound. You can check him performing with his band, as a solo hip-hop act, and as a spoken word artist all over the D.C. and Baltimore. Keep an eye out for his first book of poetry "Circumloction Vol 1: In the Beginning"
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I perform live all over the Washington D.C. area, especially with my live band "Lauda". You can probably catch me at Bar-Nun on Monday nights or any other U-Street spot like Haramabe's, Bohemian Caverns, U-Turn, Mangoes or Mawanaj.
