I tend to use Spectrasonics Atmosphere for pads and strings as their VSTI is one of the best I have used in this area. Definitely worth looking into.

deosil liked it, and he is absolutely right, because this is one of the greatest trance tracks ever, period. it has to boot a cinematic, dramatic quality that trance not very frequently sustains at least in its progressive house form.... imagine moby plus corsten with a strong hint of orchestral delerium and you get both the feeling and the idea!!! the more you listen the easier it becomes one of your all-time guiltless favorites!!
