I've been axed. So..here's a brief bio of: Dixon DeVore, Chart-Topping Songwriter.
1. I'm essentially a composer. (Which is why my instrumentals do so well).
2. Started my "professional" life as a staff lyric-writer for a large Publisher in NY.
3. Because I liked to hang out with NightClub types..they had me doing "Special Material" for nightclub acts.
4. As words come easy..and always have--this was my NY niche.
5. Have written "special material" for many acts that went on to become Major TV Acts.
6. Since I'm able to write BOTH Music & Words--I decided I'd try my hand at songwriting.
7. Been downhill ever since.
