DEE is a hearing-impaired rapper / producer originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He started writing rhymes in August of 2002 and recorded his first songs in December 2003. In 2004 he moved to Southern California where he linked up with several artists from Death Row Records and continued his musical journey. He had a near signing moment with Murder Inc. Records as Ja Rule shouted him out on the song The Last of the Mohicans, but the deal didn't materialize. In 2009 he moved to Texas and kept at it musically. He was the inspiration behind 50 Cent's SK Energy and SMS Headphone donations to The World Food Program and eventually signed to G Unit on July 4th 2023.
