Diaspora is a rising DJ/Producer from the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area. Currently, his production has focused on Drum n Bass and House. His style incorporates a few key elements: dnb = dirty, energetic, dark, aggressive, funky and old skool (all depends). Crazy synths, samples by the dozen, funky drums, thick penetrating bass...what else do you need? house = deep, upbeat, funky, techy and dubby. butt shakin' shit for the truely flexible househead out there... There is no real "niche" that he sticks to, simply cuz there's so much that can be done with the styles that exist. Corey also produces breaks, more towards the old skool/uk hardcore feel.

Delivery @ Skylounge : 2Have you performed in front of an audience?I DJ mainly in VA, DC, MD, and sometimes in the lower PA area and I'm broadening out to NC at the moment, so I've got things on the move. I've been to AZ to play before, and in the coming months, i should have a few more out-of-state gigs lined up. I just began playing my own tracks out, and so far everything sounds great, although those CD mixers are TRICKY.
Your musical influences
Many of the local DJ's (DC/VA/MD) have been my source of inspiration, many of whom I have grown to not only respect, but also fully appreciate. Over the last 3 years, I have met many DJ's/Producers whether I was at a gig, hosting an event or simply partying. Most of the people I meet have a unified, yet simplistic view on life: It's all about the music. I could not agree more, and people like that are my inspiration.What equipment do you use?
