Song: No More Blues
Beautiful vocals, good production. I like the "bossa nova " style with which the lyrics perfectly fit!! Great!

Song: My Funny Valentine
this is my all-time favorite Rodger and Hart composition. personally, Lorenz Hart is one of those great lyricists that i wish i could have met because his words are so poignant, deeply personal, and true.
and, with Dian... his beautiful lyrics are in really great hands.

for me, this has always been the quintessential torch song. i have heard it done by many instrumentalists, and vocalists over the years. but this is one of those versions that really captures the true spirit of the song. i like everything about it... including the vocal performance and the incredible arrangement.
it appears as though the song gets clipped at the end. i would have loved to have heard it from beginning to end. but nevertheless, it's one of the finest performances of this classic that you'll ever hear.

Song: Everything Must Change
this is one of those poignant songs with a really great lyric, that in the hands of some vocalists... would become just another song. yet, in the hands of a truly great performer, it can be one of those songs that touches your heart, and even make you misty eyed.
i got that feeling when i first heard it by Bernard Ighner, and then later by Billy Paul. thank you, Dian... for giving us another exquisite version of this heartwarming classic.

Another one of my favorite "woodshed" tunes. Dian takes me back to days when i was seven or eight listening outside my aunts' door as she out on an album of Nancy Wilson, somehow this stuck out in my. As I kept listening Dian reminded me of a real epiphany regarding this tune and watching a video of Billie Holiday

Very Very Good !
Wow...this a really nice performance of a much overused song, that DESPERATELY needs to be re-engineered and re-mixed. Get the tracks and do it.
