Band/artist history
Diane has been writing songs for a number of years. Her inspiration is drawn mostly from her observations and experience. Her influences span a wide spectrum. She has developed a musical style with it's roots in blues and alternative folk.
Diane is no stranger to Cork's busy music scene. Having performed with a number of bands, she decided to go solo and has since played to audiences in the Lobby Bar and The Triskel Arts Centre to much acclaim.
With songs such as and the exellent you immediately know that Diane is up there with her idols David Gray and Kristen Hersh. Her powerful voice provides the perfect vehicle for her subtle melodies and the imagery in her songs.
In 2003 Diane was included in Cork's 96fm best of the Green Room sessions.
