We are Diamond Jack from Sudan, TX. We are influenced by many different artists and cover a lot of ground, but we will have something that will scratch your itchBand/artist history
We started this journey in our home town of Sudan, TX back in 2001, I think. We were originally going to get together and jam some old country tunes at the Sharp family reunion that summer, but it felt good so we kept on going. We played at every jamboree, jamaica, wedding, birthday, dance, anniversary, festival, tribute, celebration, party, grand opening, pig pickin, and baby shower that would have us and I think a few that wouldnt. In the last year and a half or so we started getting some original songs written and arranged and then that seemed like the right thing for us at the time, so we continued to write and hone the songs to what you hear on this CD. We think youll like them. We count so many different artists and styles as influencers on our sound that its kinda hard to describe who we are sometimes. If you were like us growing up, with Johnny Cash or Waylon Jennings playing in one part of the house and Bad Company or ZZ Top in another, youll understand where were coming from. We write and play songs that are part of us. Some or most of any song on here might be fictional, but theres a piece of us, a friend, or a family member in every one of them.Have you performed in front of an audience?Anywhere that will have us.. we will play
