"The drinking band with a metal problem."
Devilution is the demented thoughts and twisted theories of four very differant and very strange individuals, that all know how to create an intense metal experience that everyone can enjoy (besides the easily offended).
The origins of Devilution are not exactly known for sure, but some people believe it all started around 2001, in the richy, little, suburban town of Hudsonville, MI, with a group called Stain of Mind. Stain of Mind was formed purely just to sabatoge a Chirstian High School Talent Show. Jordan Dams attended this alleged school and had a dream that he would some day perform his own favorite form of devilsh metal music on the same stage that all those boring missionaries and low-paid preachers gave all their worthless speeches. That day came. A talent show was announced, and Jordan started to recruiting the finest musicians he could find, with like interests in heavy metal. First he sought to, his two closest friends, Jeremy White and Jeff Rice. Friends he had known since the 3rd grade. Friends he knew would love just as much as him, to see the looks on all those rich, hypocritical faculty members and fake parents. They agreed immediatly and already had a drummer in mind. Jon Conner. Jon even had a place they could practice their devious plan. They searched and searched and eventually found one song that they could quickly learn, and would give a nice big "FUCK YOU" to Un*** Christian High School. It was set, Jon on the drums, Jordan on guitar, Jeremy on bass, and Jeff on vocals. Then on March 23, 2001, they finally got to see the looks on everyone's faces. Astonishment. Confusion. Horror. "How could this happen in our happy little wholesome community". And so the disease began, they realized they had something, and began writing original material.
A time came, when Jordan was experiencing personal problems with his life, and had to shun himself from all forms of society. He seeked medical help, and temperaroly left the band. With no one playing guitar, Jeff was able to bring back his original passion, the six-string axe. Without any hesitation, Jon, Jeff and Jeremy trudged on and continued to write more music. Out of nowhere they where asked to perform a well-known metal show, with three big, local acts. Since Jordan was no longer in the band, they needed a new name, hence Losing All was born. Long story short, Losing All ran a series of shows in one run-down, old, sports bar, almost weekly. This gave them a feel of what it was like to actually perform before people who really wanted to hear this kind of music, and they loved it. This was for real now, they were determined to make it.
Eventually Jordan came back to his senses, and decided to seek vengence on the bigots who had wronged him. He began collaborating with Jeremy on a new project they dubbed "Devilution". As soon as Jeff heard the word Devilution, he was hooked. The three of them went to Jon with this fresh ass idea, and the fire was instantly rekindled, as they wrote 8 new original songs in the span of less than 6 months. Through time they found that not only is Devilution a music group, its a belief. Our world is devolving, and they are here to guide the ones who also follow this sick process. They curruntly run their own webhosting companies, websites, radio stations, and create all there own artwork.
