Desiderata
Desiderata is a blues-rock band out of Chicago Illinois. They are young, but they are quite talented nonetheless. They all come from VERY different musical backgrounds, but one thing is consistent with them... They love rocking out.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Six kids...five going off to college...One soon to be senior...Got together...Learned more covers than anyone would want to...wrote some of their own stuff...lost every battle of the bands they played even though on every score sheet it said "FUCKIN GREAT MUSIC" and so on...they like to jam in Dave's basement...yeah.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We really don't play shows that often. Mostly small places around Chicago. This really DRUNK guy started dry-humping his DRUNK wife during one of the choruses of "Feel Like Makin Love"...and after most people had lost interest (after 4 hours of us) we had run out of songs to play...but he didn't care. He made us continue so we learned, on stage, five songs that only our singer knew.
