Hailing from the Montreal area, Derelict brings together four open minded metal musicians who are seeking to combine various elements of all metal genres to create a brutal and progressive sound.
Having already shared the stage with the likes of Endast, 3 Mile Scream, Wrench in the Works, 40 Birds, HxC Warrior, Synastry, Prometheus, Val Caim, and Incessant Wake, Derelict are looking to continue to incenerate the live scene and make their mark on the metal masses.
Band/artist history
Daryl, Kris, Eric, and Jordan came together during the summer-fall of 2005 and began intensively jamming out progressive death and thrash riffs.
The guys have spent the year working on songs with the idea in mind that anything goes, be it nihilistic blast beats, jazzy interludes, or thrash over drum polyrhythms.
Ideological Prey was recorded over the summer of 2006, released in the fall, and the live scene was attacked during that period as well.
Derelict is currently working on a new EP and as many live shows as possible.

Anywhere anytime. Our best show so far was at Club Saphir on Nov 11th 2006. It was our album launch.
