YO! What's up world, Men and Women, B-Boys & B-Girls, Brothas and Sista from other mothers of other colors, and straight & gay, since I don't discriminate.

Just to give you a short version of it, my name is Denardo Lee Gastin, but I can also be known as DLG, MC DLG, Big D, D, or Mr. Gastin. Yeah, I know it's a goddamn lot. lol There's TOO MANY fuckin' DLG's out there (like the salsa band Dark Latin Groove), but at least mine is my real name. I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, but trust me.....do NOT expect no crunk or snap material from ME!!!

Anyway, after doing these monthly cheap-ass "Radio Shows" in my personal Myspace page (www.myspace.com/denardoleegastin), I'm welcoming my OWN personal music to your ears with this page. I've been writing my own music lyrics since I was 16 years old (2000), and now I'm using them to the next level...being recorded. However, because that I don't have my own personal beats (hopefully I will own my Roland MV-8800 soon), I am rapping over beats from a few of my friends, and instrumentals from certain known rappers and producers. So to the Major rappers out there, PLEASE don't throw me with lawsuits or cease & desist shit, because I respect and support all of you MCs, even if I don't listen to every rap genre out there. So at this moment, ALL of my songs are demos.

As for everyone else, especially to the Underground Hip Hop fans, a new MC has now entered not just the hip hop game, but the music game in general. Whatever the turnouts would be, I'm prepared...

PS: I can be a bit of a maniac in my shit. lol

June 20th, 2008: I made my debut to the music world.

I have never played live before, but I hope so. If I do, I can only be able ot perform a few songs, since I won't be able to memorize all of my lyrics at this moment. So, hit me up, if you ever want me to perform live, and perhaps do a few opening acts.

You know what's funny? When I rap, I sound so close to Kool Keith, because even though I'm not as insane as him, but my voice is sort of similar to him. He's one of my influences. I also have KRS-One, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, and a whole slew of others who are influences to me.

Right now, I am using my Creative Labs Zen Vision M built-in microphone to record my songs. However, pretty soon, I plan to finally own the Roland MV-8800, so I can start to learn how to produce by scratch.
