Delasonica (Rock en Espanol) is 5 guys influenced by contemporary music, the pop culture, graphic design, the city and the beach, with a little brain damage from the damn injustice of life, unrequited love and the excessive volume of their guitars. Mario Duran, Alan Esparza and Jorge Rodriguez have played together since the alterative rock movement of the 90s, which motivated them to form a band. The lead singer, Lizandro (Chompi) Fernandez, joined the band after being part of several local bands, including an alternative project in Jalapa, Veracruz. Together they set out on an adventure to the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, where they made new contacts, gained public acceptance and recorded an album with La Cueva Records. Less than satisfied with that recording, they returned to the crippled City of Colima, almost destroyed by the 2003 earthquake. Beto (Slash) Ramirez returned to the band after playing for a few years in the legendary band La Adixion.
