this is a short but sweet masterpiece, with it being sung by the bassist paddy, with dan as accompaniment. this song is one of the finest songs ever so do listen.


Consoled Consoled
A sad, slow song about watching someone you love die. Written on the night of Live 8 by the band. This is our most heartfelt song and probably one of our best pieces of work
We're Default and we're a Punk Rock Band from Eltham/Sidcup/Orpington area near London, England. We're a 3 piece band consisting of Dan Howe(Guitar, Vocals), Kieran 'Paddy' O'Brien(Bass, Vocals) and Alex Lang(Drums, Backing Vocals). We formed in mid 2004 and the lineup has changed quite a bit with Dan and Alex, the 2 founding members consistently being in the band.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Erm not as of yet but we're hoping to get a gig sometime soon.
Your musical influences
Paddy: Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queens Of The Stone Age, John Frusciante,anything that is Funk
Dan: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Offspring, Sum 41, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Punk Rock basically.
Alex: Any punk rock. Green Day, Bowling for Soup etc.

Dan: Jimmy Reed USA Black Strat, AXL Les Paul Natural, Marshall Amps
Paddy: Vintage V800, Marshall Amps
Alex: Pearl Drums
