This is passionate, modern rock'n'roll arrangement of the classic Christmas song.
Gloryland Gloryland
Aretha Franklin jams with Led Zeppelin on Lynrd Skynrd's front porch. (?) Guitar-driven, catchy rock'n'roll.
Blending modern American rock with edgy pop, Debra Soule serves up a spirited mix of guitar-driven music that is as daring as it is genuine. Through her songs Debra reveals a deep spiritual Faith that was forged in the trials and tragedies of her early life. The pain, the love, the passion and the hope in her songs are real. And so is Debra.
Her powerful singing voice is tinted with the blues and southern soul, while her production quality and live performances are on the cutting edge of modern music. This infuses Debra’s well-crafted, radio-friendly songs with a fresh, yet timeless quality all their own.Band/artist history
Debra Soule’s music has been heard on Dateline NBC, 300+stations of the Calvary Chapel Radio Network, in the feature-length indie film “One Day in May”, and on stages from her home town of Minneapolis to Los Angeles. Debra’s debut CD “Vapor” was released to crtical acclaim in 2002. On November 15, 2003 Debra's 2nd CD, simply called "Christmas", will be released. It features traditional Christmas songs performed and arranged in Debra's signature souful, rock'n'roll style. 2004 will see the release of “Free”, a brand new full-length CD of original music. But despite all of the public accolades and opportunities she has been blessed with, Debra Soule’s reputation as a talented artist of integrity and deep Faith is ultimately being forged at her energetic and passionate live shows.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes. We play as both a full 7-piece band with a couple guitars, piano, back-up singer, drums and bass. We also play out as a 2 or 3 piece coffee-house type acoustic band. We love playing anywhere and everywhere we can - from bookstores to clubs to on-air performances.
