In a world where popular rock is a kiddie cocktail of watered-down content and predictable structure, Death by Drinking is a flaming shot of anti-pop that will drown your musical inhibitions and burn forever in your soul. With a sound created from the vomit of whiskey shots and discarded bottles from the back alleys of the most evil and violent pubs in the most desolate and disgusting places in the world, forged by the dead souls of rockstars, vagabonds, coal mine workers, and cousin-touchers world wide Death by Drinking has a backpack full of booze, and we're here to party.
We were not born of this world. We do not exist in any conventional standards. We are merely an idea that when the world gets too serious, it's okay to laugh. That life is a joke, and not everybody's going to get it. That acting outside of the world's guidelines for behavior is not only acceptable, it should be encouraged. And finally, when life gives you a reason to frown, show that life how to chug a bottle down!!
And know this, when a child falls down and cracks their chin open while running around a pool, we'll be there. When a guy rides his bike home from the bar and puts his front tire into a sewer grate, we'll be there. When a girl sets her bangs on fire lighting a joint in the car, we'll be there. When a man drives his car into a river because he thought he was in reverse, we'll be there. And when a band is crashing and nobody has the balls to say something out loud, we'll be there, to point, and laugh, and buy you a fucking shot.
We are Death By Drinking... And we will rock you.Your musical influences
Booze, Katy Perry, Static, The little devil on our shoulders that got drunk and T-bagged the angel on our other shoulder, and more Booze. Seriously we really drink a lot when we play. We DON'T fit into a genre, (unless Drink Metal is a genre) and we probably DON'T make a lot of sense. We are influenced by our own lives and driven by the desire to do things that we don't see other people do. That doesn't have as much to do with wanting to be musically talented as it does with finding an outlet for our insanity...Contact
