Dayo Anderson was born April 1st, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The aspiring singer loves music with soulful vocals. She is most influenced by Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Bonnie Raitt and EnVogue. Singing has always played an important role in her life. From singing as a little girl to performing in talent shows as a teenager. In fact, in Junior high School, Dayo was named Most Likely to record a Gold Record. Over the past four years she has worked with Shomari Andrews of Razafus Productions based out of Atlanta. Dayo is working with Shomari on various different projects that include collaborating with local Atlanta Hip-Hop artists. Dayo is also currently studying voice with Karen Lyu. Karen is an accomplished singer, vocal instructor and the Director of West Bank School. Dayo is also currently studying Music Theory at the West Bank School of Music located in Minneaapolis.
