Real Talk with Dave Pounder and Lucinda [2/3] - Radio show of an adult comedic nature dealing with sex, relationships, and other issues facing today's youth.
Dave Pounder is an adult film producer/director and talk radio host. He produces and directs approximately four movies per year, primarily aimed at the young, college-couples market. He was born in Haroldwood, England (Essex County) while his father was working oversees for Ford Motor Company. A few months after his birth, his family returned to Farmington Hills, MI, a suburb approximately 20 miles northwest of Detroit, where Dave spent the first 18 years of his life growing up. Ironically, Dave attended Detroit Catholic Central High School where he studied college prep courses and started to develop an interest in porn. After graduation, Dave attended Michigan State University where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Finance and met the love of his life, Leslie. Dave accepted a position with GE Capital in the Leadership Development Program, an exclusive management training program at General Electric, which relocated him ever six months to different cities including Philadelphia, Denver, and Richmond. During the program, Dave held key positions in Risk Management, Finance, Information Technology, and Marketing. After working for two years, Dave attended Arizona State University and attained a Masters degree in Information Management from the College of Business. It was at Arizona State where Dave became very active sexually and decided to join the swinger community in Phoenix. Upon graduation, Dave accepted a position as a Business Intelligence Analyst for a large financial services company in Irvine, CA, where he still lives today. Dave is currently working as Director of Production for Daydream Production Company, an adult Internet company.
Prior to directing, he performed in adult films for a period of just under two years, where he was the only male performer in the business that did not engage in anal sex scenes and refused to perform in scenes involving violence and/or degrading of the women involved in the production. In an effort to appeal to mainstream audiences, all movies released by Dave Pounder Productions do not include any anal sex nor violence or degradation toward the people involved.
In addition to porn, Dave co-hosts “Real Talk”, a call-in radio show similar to Loveline, at KUCI 88.9FM in Irvine, where people call in to talk about dating, relationships, and current events. His first ever radio demo is available for free download via his website at www.davepounder.com Dave is one of only a few porn personalities who has also gained acceptance by the mainstream entertainment industry. He has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Weakest Link, Blind Date, 5th Wheel, and several other mainstream television shows. Dave is one of only a handful of adult celebrities in both the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA); in addition, he was signed to Baron Entertainment, which is one of only a handful of SAG franchised talent agencies in Los Angeles.
Outside of the entertainment realm, Dave enjoys playing tennis, bicycling, hiking and camping, chess, going to the beach, and just about anything outdoors. Dave is very interested in an active, healthy lifestyle. He does not drink, smoke, nor is he involved with any kind of illegal drugs. Dave’s future plans include taking his radio show nationwide, getting a black belt in Hung Gar and/or Muay Thai, and ultimately writing a book about all his experiences. Dave would also like to play an active role in shaping the future of adult entertainment and ensuring the viability of the industry.
