A veteran in the entertainment industry; Dat Boy Kahn has learned some valuable lessons in life, overcame adversity, and is the People's Champ; this is his biography:
Dat Boy Kahn is the owner of People's Choice Music & Entertainment (PCMUICENT), he is a up and coming, songwriter, recording artist, and producer; currently residing in Tampa, FL. His style can be considered any and more so he utilizes his swag; which is a combination of Hip Hop, R&B, and a touch smooth Jazz sounds. Dat Boy Kahn comes from a family of musicians and has a athletic background. Prior too becoming an artist and running his label; he played basketball for (Alief) Elsik senior high; were he played along side friend and teammate Rashard Lewis of the Orlando Magic. However due to a felonie case he was unable to finish his senior year of high school but he would go on to play junior college basketball at South Florida Community College. After his first year Kahn not only suffered a knee injury but the termination of the athletic basketball program as well. That gave Kahn the opportunity of a life time.
In the summer of 1998 he submitted a demo to Indie label Wreckshopp Records. That Demo got into the hands of Sam Willoby; who would later go on to be head of marketing for Sony Urban. In order to become the best artist Kahn knew he had to learn the business, so he start from the ground floor with the label as a street promoter. His first project Fat Pat "Ghetto Dreams" reached record sales of 60,000 units independent; threw then distributor Southwest Wholesale. Despite his early success he was unable to position himself with the catalog of artists that were on the label at the time, so Kahn then branched off forming the group Playa Pawtnaz (K.B. da M.A.K.K. and Sampay the Husla) with friend and business partner Chris Sampay. The group had a brief stint but due to a falling out, were unable to complete the entire album. The two parted was leaving Kahn with a decision to make; either give up or go all in!!!!
