Band/artist history
En marzo del '98 nace la idea de formar Dark Silence, idea que se concreta con Maleska (voz y teclado) y Carlos (guitarra y voz). Desde un comienzo no hubo un line up estable, por lo cual el progreso de la banda se retrasó mucho.
A mediados del año 2000 la alineación se consolida con Czar Fuentes, (batería), Maleska (voz y teclados) y Carlos (voz y guitarra). Con esta alineación se logro componer varios temas y se participa en el "Metal Crusher Aattack VIII" (31/3/2001) junto a bandas locales y Hantametal, que llego invitada de la ciudad de Ilo. para esta presentación se cuenta con el apoyo de Carlo Alonso Raffo (guitarra rítmica, actualmente en Ch'aska) y Juan Pablo (bajo, actualmente en Grinder) quien entró en la banda solo semanas antes del concierto.
Teniendo varios temas compuestos se decide grabar en mes de agosto. Antes llega una invitación para tocar en la ciudad de Ilo, lamentablemente todo queda truncado debido al inesperado deceso de Czar, victima de un absurdo accidente la madrugada del 1 de Junio del 2001.
La banda decide seguir adelante con los integrantes que quedaban. Se busca un nuevo baterista, entrando en agosto Luis Palza y a mediados del mes de septiembre César Cohaila en la guitarra debido a la ausencia de Carlo Alonso quien estudia en Arequipa.
Con esta alineación se tocó el 23 de noviembre junto a Leuzemia y otras bandas teniendo buena aceptación.
Entre los dias 09 y 12 de Diciembre se logro grabar la primera produccion denominada: "Princess OF The Dark" que cuenta con seis temas y una introducción.
En el año 2003 la banda ha tocado en Ilo, Arica-chile, Puno y se espera grabar en los meses de agosto.
El 01 de octubre del 2003 se edita una nueva produccion que lleva el nombre de "A Whisper In The Darkness". Esta produccion ah sido promocionada en diferentes conciertos asi como en otras ciudades como Arequipa y Cusco.
En mes de febrero ingresan a la banda como apoyos Marcelo en el bajo y Juan Pablo en guitarra asi como Bambino en bateria para suplir a Luis y Cesar quienes por problemas varios no pueden continuar en la banda.
Actualmente la banda se encuentra componiendo temas para lo que seria su tercera produccion y disco debut de la banda.
