Both being survivors of all kinds of life's adversities, bring a unique perspective and artistic expression into their performances and into their own compositions. "We are doing what we love, especially because we share it together."  They chose the name "Dark Road" after a song written by legendary bluesman, Mr Brownie McGhee.  Life is after all a road....and through its ups and downs, twists and turns, good and bad it leads us to ever ponder "what is light without dark..." (Legend 1985)
