Hello everyone I'm Danny Kleev and I've been playing the guitar since I was 12 years old, I don't think I've improved much
Band/artist history
I started playing guitar when I was 12 and started writing songs once I had a few chords under my belt mainly because I couldn't play anybody else's songs.
I bounce from one style to another depending where I am with music at the time but have always been grounded in Rock 'n' roll.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes many times most memorable moments were when hells angels stormed the stage and the lights caught fire, not something I would choose to relive
Your musical influences
Eddie Cochran has always without doubt been my guitar idol just something about his playing and the big orange gretsch 6120 he used just captured my imagination. While Elvis Presley to me was the finest vocalist that ever walked this earth.
What equipment do you use?
My main guitar is a Gretsch which I run through a fender amp and an echo or reverb pedal and I have several acoustics ranging from a jumbo to a parlour guitar that I will use on tracks depending which one I think fits at the time.
My Mic is a rode Nt1a which runs through a mixer into an old fashion Boss br600, it works for me.
Anything else?
I've only just started writing and recording again after a few years away from it. I had another page under the name Danny Hamilton which I last put up a track 10 years ago. But a fresh start was required hence a new page under Danny Kleev, Kleev is my middle name.
