Hi! My name is Dan Tearle and this is my work! It's all just for fun as I am not a professional musician but just enjoy making songs, I hope you'll maybe give me a listen and maybe, you just might like what I do!Band/artist history
I have been making music for many years and seriously for the last couple, I love to experiment and make silly sounds on my synthesizers!Have you performed in front of an audience?I've never played live and have no intention of playing live, I'm just not good enough!
Your musical influences
My main influence is Jean-Michel Jarre, although I am also influenced by Tangerine Dream, Air, Mike Oldfield, Depeche Mode, my family and Zippy from rainbow. What equipment do you use?
Roland JP8000, Yamaha CS1x, Yamaha AN200, Smallstone Phaser pedal and various softsynths.Anything else?
It's all a bit of fun, and that's all it'll ever be...Between Worlds station

P:)Hi Dan
Ferns Song is a really nice piece, although i would have liked the drum section to come in a little earlier than the one minute mark - just p[ersonal preference. the main body of the track is really good, very mellow and Vangelis like - great beat and pads, especially like the sweeping harmonies and bass arps. I'm not sure what you used to produce this, but if you used FL for the main piano part I have a good piano sample that I use all the time that I could let you have - the one you're using just sounds a wee bit tinny to my ears. Also, perhaps a single echo would have been better than multiple echo's ? Please dont take those thoughts as critisisms because they aren't meant to be, the whole sound once the beat comes in is fabulous and really kept my interest the whole way through - maybe just shorten the opening piano sequence and add some pads underneath and you'd have a fabulous track for sure. At the end of the day, I often read suggestions about my work and shrug my shoAll comments (11)

Hi Dan So sorry for my 'enforced' absence, but I hope things are well with you and I'm hoping to give SC a bit more time than of late, at least for the next few months. After that, with a little Penetraytor in the house it may be down to once a week.......Sarah is pregnant and I'm about to become a dad ! So, as you can imagine we've had a lot of sorting out, planning, working out finances (or lack of them *lol*), getting excited and worrying. All in all SC has taken a back seat, but like I said hopefully I'll make time to get on more often and hopefully finish off the album I'm hoping to put together before the turn of the year. Hope everything is well with you, and I hope to catch up with you real soon. Drop me a line if you can ! Oh, and I'll also give your new one a listen ASAP my friend. Best wishes Craig P:)
