Hi Dan So sorry for my 'enforced' absence, but I hope things are well with you and I'm hoping to give SC a bit more time than of late, at least for the next few months. After that, with a little Penetraytor in the house it may be down to once a week.......Sarah is pregnant and I'm about to become a dad ! So, as you can imagine we've had a lot of sorting out, planning, working out finances (or lack of them *lol*), getting excited and worrying. All in all SC has taken a back seat, but like I said hopefully I'll make time to get on more often and hopefully finish off the album I'm hoping to put together before the turn of the year. Hope everything is well with you, and I hope to catch up with you real soon. Drop me a line if you can ! Oh, and I'll also give your new one a listen ASAP my friend. Best wishes Craig P:)

Hi Dan Ferns Song is a really nice piece, although i would have liked the drum section to come in a little earlier than the one minute mark - just p[ersonal preference. the main body of the track is really good, very mellow and Vangelis like - great beat and pads, especially like the sweeping harmonies and bass arps. I'm not sure what you used to produce this, but if you used FL for the main piano part I have a good piano sample that I use all the time that I could let you have - the one you're using just sounds a wee bit tinny to my ears. Also, perhaps a single echo would have been better than multiple echo's ? Please dont take those thoughts as critisisms because they aren't meant to be, the whole sound once the beat comes in is fabulous and really kept my interest the whole way through - maybe just shorten the opening piano sequence and add some pads underneath and you'd have a fabulous track for sure. At the end of the day, I often read suggestions about my work and shrug my sho

Hi Paul, Thanks for the nice words, I'm just suprised that people like this stuff! No, really, I hope that I can get better as I put more songs together! In answer to your question about the Jarre type finger snaps, it's quite simply a sample of the Quijida from the Korg MP7 minipops which Jarre used on Oxygene and Equinoxe. Being heavily influenced by the style of these albums, I wanted to include sounds of the minipops to give that kind of feel. Thanks again for posting and I hope you'll come back as there'll be more stuff coming soon! Best regards, Dan

Hi there im just listening too "Sinister Sponge" - I saw you in penytrators station.....this is my kind of music..how do you do those echo type finger snap things which you hear in equinox and oxygene...?????? Anyway this track is very cool, and love all the arpregiators, and sweeps. The pitch bends @ around 3 mins are very cool indeed. I am a huge Jarre fan - so instantly took a liking to this track. I have put this into my station for further listening. Great work Best wishes Paul

Hi Daniel ! Finally got on your board *lol*. 'Sinister Sponge' is very cool, very retro Jarre and reminds me of Oxygene and Equinox, which if you read my bio page you will know I'm a huge fan of. Great pitch bends on the synths and lovely Jarresque arpegiators. You really should let me know when you have new stuff up because what I've heard so far has really impressed me. Your grasp of harmonies is brilliant and the soundscapes you paint are really quite wonderful. You know I'm a big fan of 'Amniotic'. I really like the direction your music takes and its very professionally put together IMHO. Anyway, if you get chance pop by and listen to my new track 'Sensation'. My best to you and yours Craig P:) Best wishes to you and yours YKB Craig P:)
