Mostly quiet of late....
Singer songwriter Cusack has been performing his alt-country/roots-pop in and around London and the South East of England since 2001. His songs have garnered favourable comparisons to Evan Dando, Smog and Simon & Garfunkel all of which he cites as important influences along with the likes of Neil Young, Will Oldham and Nick Lowe. Previously, as well as playing with local heroes The ProTeens and The Adjustment, Lance spent the latter part of the '90s fronting London-based retro-rockers Regentone whose acclaimed 'World Of Sound' ep ("Classy and assured guitar pop' - Time Out) was to be their sole release. During this period Lance also had a stint as musical director on BBC Radio One's pop satire show 'Z Magazine'. Presently, Cusack can be found hosting his very own intimate weekly showcase 'Shangri-la' , or playing in and around town with the four-piece Cusack & the Mildsensations. The next Cusack release 'mildsensations' is currently in the pipeline.
