Welcome to the Dutch Goth/Wave band Crystal Entity.
Band/artist history
Crystal Entity was founded in October 2001 and developed itself into a dynamic gothic-wave band. Their home base is Landgraaf, a city in the south of the Netherlands.
In the beginning they played covers of bands like The Sisters Of Mercy and New Model Army. But after a little while they started to write their own songs. The lyrics are written in a metaforic sense. The music varies from intense moments to spheric tranquillity, which contributes in understanding the very essence of their songs. The musical style of the band has been influenced by the early years of gothic and wave music.
In February 2003 they recorded a 4-track demo cd called "When Shadows Fall..."
Recently they recorded their 2nd cd “Close To Dawn”, which will be presented in the venues “Spuugh” (Vaals, Netherlands), “013” (Tilburg, Netherlands) and in “De Bosuil” (Weert, Netherlands).
In the past they did some shows with Dutch gothic acts Gail Of God, Orbis Pictus and the Belgian Erato.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes, we do play live. Mostly in the south of the Netherlands. But we hope this will change soon ... A special moment was playing in 013 (kleine zaal) in Tilburg.
