Urban Music producer & New York
City native Crown P was raised in the Co-
op City housing development in the
Northeastern part of the Bronx. Being
influenced in part from his fathers
Nigerian musical roots, Crown P started
getting into music at an early age. First
from playing the piano by ear, from there
he started rapping and then started getting
into music production. During the last
several years he has been grinding out
music in the lab that concentrates on
catchy melodies unique drum patterns and
pounding bass. With his sample light
approach to making music, he started to
develop local underground connections as
well as connects with affiliates of major
New York artists and A&Rs. Instead of
working his connects. Crown P decided to
go back in the lab and to take his music to
the next level. Now at the age of 27 this
Dynamic Producer member is ready to let
his music be known to the industry and the
listening public at large. Mainly using his
Korg Triton and his Roland MV-8000 as his
current arsenals of choice, he can create
music that is minimalist in nature to a
sound more complex in orchestration and
from a raw hip-hop sound to making tracks
for the club and R&B artists alike. Recently
Crown Ps music has received many
positive comments by people that listen on
his website and his MySpace pages. He
uses his past experiences as a rap artist
to continually increase his creativity in
crafting his sound and arrangements. He
is ready to take the listener on a sonic ride
to the next level. Crown P is ready for the
future. Ride with him.
