In 2005, in the Italian city Bari, Nikki Dick and
Joey Florenz got together and discussed putting
together a band inspired by the rock 'n' roll
bands of the 80's.
After many line up changes and some live shows,
finally in 2006 they teamed up with Michael Drake
and Brian Kent and Cream Pie was formed.
In 2007 they recorded a live demo featuring
4 songs (Long Leader, Electric Blue, Tokyo Nightz
and Love is Blind) called Live Crime which they
released on their website via a free download.
After a good self promotion on the web and some
good reviews about the Live Crime EP
Cream Pie was invited for some live shows
in Usa during the spring 2008 and their songs started
to be played by some American's radio stations.
In december 2007 they started to record their first
self-produced full-lenght album "Dirty Job"
featuring 11 songs and released on march 20th
via website.
In february 2008 Joey quit to be on tour with
the band cause personal problems. So they hooked up
Rachel O'Neill (vocalist) and Vito Losito (guitarist) to be
on tour in Usa.
"Dirty Job" was released just a week before
Cream Pie started the USA tour. It went
through Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee for
a total of 25 days, 8 gigs, and a radio live
interview. It ended in Memphis, Tn on april 19th.
In april 2008 when Cream Pie came back from the
American tour Joey quit the band for good cause
different opinions about the future of the band.
In may 2008 the male singer Rachel ONeill joined Cream Pie
as new frontman, and in july 2008 Phantom joined as new guitarist.
Both replaced the double Joey Florenz role (singer/guitarist).
In may 2009 singer Alexander replaced Rachel O'Neill.
Cream Pie is now writin' and recordin' the new album,
"Downtown Pirates", after a 3 months tour
(may to august 2009) in Florida.
Cream Pie is currently lookin for a record and distribution deal.
